Claressinka Anderson’s poems and essays have appeared in or are forthcoming from Best New Poets 2022, Los Angeles Review of Books, Autre Magazine, bedfellows, Chiron Review, Contemporary Art Review Los Angeles (Carla), and elsewhere, as well as in the anthology, Choice Words: Writers on Abortion (Haymarket Books, 2020). She is the winner of the Bear Review’s 2022 Michelle Boisseau Poetry Prize judged by Traci Brimhall. Anderson holds an MFA in writing and literature from Bennington College. Born and raised in London, she lives in Los Angeles and dreams about rain.
