Caleb Sabatka is a theopoet, translator, and Doctor of Letters student at Drew University. Caleb holds a MA in Restorative Justice from Vermont Law School, a BA in Literary Translation and Cross-Cultural Relations from Bard College at Simon’s Rock and uses poetry to narrate his embodied struggle with mental health, theology, and sexuality. He is a prison abolitionist from a rural town in Wyoming that came to learn Spanish while studying abroad in Spain and Cuba. He has also presented his translations and writing on translation as a form of activism at Bard College’s 2020 BTTI Symposium and the 2020 OSUN Senior Project Presentations.
