I live in Norwich, Vermont with my partner Jim, our son Max, and our two fabulous border collies, Shy and Phe. I teach in the women’s, gender and sexuality studies program at Dartmouth College, volunteer regularly at WISE (our local sexual and domestic violence and stalking crisis center), and am a consultant. My teaching and consulting focus on cultural diversity, equal opportunity and social justice. My passions also include yoga, road cycling and listening to beautifully written and wonderfully read audio books. I have published poems in Talking Writing, SLAB, The New Virginia Review and several issues of Bloodroot Literary Magazine. In addition to writing poetry, I am working on a memoir and a novel.
